Big News for Nikki D

Hello world!

I have been on a hiatus for a while but I am back in action! I've had lots of things going on that I will catch you all up on - but right now I wanted to share some exciting news!

I have been happily distracted with a big change in my life. I found it hard to blog/talk about what's going on in my world with out mentioning it, but I needed to wait until the time was right to share the good news. Drum roll please..... I am pregnant! That's right - Nikki D is knocked up! I am in my 13th week and feeling great - actually feeling like crap - but everyone says that's great!

I am not quite sure how this will change my blog. I don't expect that every post will be about the baby, but I will be sharing my thoughts and questions and look forward to hearing advice and words of wisdom from my friends in the blogosphere - and that includes mommies, daddies, aunties, uncles, and more - I want to hear all of your perspectives.

So with a big smile and growing belly I leave you for now - but we'll be back again soon! :)
